Route 1: Maschsee Route to the Park of the Senses

This 18-kilometer route leads from the Ernst August Monument at Hanover Central Station along the Maschsee to the exhibition grounds and former EXPO site as well as to the Park of the Senses.

Route 2: Bult Route to the Park of the Senses

The 18.8-kilometer Bult Route leads through the Eilenriede city park to the former EXPO exhibition grounds with relics from EXPO 2000 and the world’s largest exhibition center, as well as to the Park of the Senses, a project that also originated as part of EXPO 2000.

Route 3: Herrenhausen Route

This 7.9-kilometer route runs from the Central Station in the city center along the magnificent Herrenhausen Gardens, one of Hanover’s most outstanding visitor attractions, to Stöcken with its large VW Commercial Vehicles plant.

Route 4: Mittelland Canal Route

This approximately 25-kilometer route runs along Lower Saxony’s most important and busiest waterway to impressive structures such as the flood bridge in Garbsen or the Hindenburg Lock in Anderten.

Route 5: Eilenriede Route

This 10.5-kilometer tour leads from the southern shore of the Maschsee through Europe’s largest urban forest, the Eilenriede. It continues past the zoo to Anderten’s landmark, the Hindenburg Lock.

Route 6 Julius Trip Ring

Get to know the green city of Hanover on this route opened in 2007. The 25-kilometer well-signposted bike path runs once around the city center and connects the Maschsee and the riverbanks of Leine and Ihme with Herrenhausen, extends to the Eilenriede and leads back to the Maschsee.
