Attractions around Hannover

Eilenriede

A city forest in the truest sense of the word and at the same time Hannover’s “Green Lung”. An impressive 650 hectares of forest in the middle of the city is almost unique in Europe. Enjoy an extensive walk in the beautiful nature.

Market Hall

The Market Hall (the belly of Hannover) offers a paradise-like selection of dining options. Explore the many small stands!

A variety of fresh food, exclusive delicacies, and international cuisine awaits you. Enjoy the extraordinary atmosphere of the Market Hall with a glass of champagne or wine.

The Market Hall is located in the immediate vicinity of the Concorde Hotel Am Leineschloss.

Maschsee

The artificial Maschsee lake, created between 1934 and 1936 in the Leinemasch, is known far beyond the city limits and is one of Hannover’s most popular excursion destinations.

Relax by the lake or enjoy nature during an extensive walk.

But the Maschsee has much more to offer. How about a canoe trip on the Maschsee? Try your hand at stand-up paddling or let your soul dangle during a relaxed yacht tour.

Our tip for the summer: Visit the Maschsee Festival! Around and on the lake, visitors are offered street performances, culinary delights, music, and fireworks.
